Re: Cult: Web sites of local clubs - How Beneficial??

Whether to have a website;

As PR chair for AIS I have some observations. I get
requests for information from all over the country. If
I have a website for a local club it can make it much
easier to connect them to a potential new member. It
is a great way to have info about shows and special
programs available. There is a downside though. If
your website is not updated regularly with correct
info it can be a turnoff. I have had several
experiences of trying to connect a person to a group
only to find the website showed a president of the
affiliate who was dead or no longer a member. It can
be a fantastic tool to work with but must continually
be worked at.
