Re: HYB: REB: Imm kid, rebloom?


No - sad to say, things are starting to crisp again, and temperatures have been normal or above for the last 3? weeks.

Before that it was raining regularly, keeping everything green and lush, tho not enough to do anything to recover from last year's deficit & low water table. Last weather report I saw said we were already something like 7 inches below the 30 yr average for this year.

Only thing I can figure about this one is that it wasn't quite mature enough to bloom this spring, got ready to go during all the rain, and with the chip mulch, has had just enough moisture to keep going.

LOOKING BEAUTIFUL (from Oz in March) in a pot seems to have done the same thing. But stalk is miniaturized - very short and only two or three buds, IB sized (or smaller) flower.
