Some take seedlings others do not but if AIS has no connection with them they probably do not care what we think. My goal is to begin communication that has been lacking for many years. If we are talking, then they might understand our needs and we moght be able to relate to theirs. ----- Original Message ----- From: autmirislvr@aol.com To: iris@hort.net Sent: Wednesday, June 23, 2010 5:28:48 PM GMT -05:00 US/Canada Eastern Subject: Re: [iris] Re: Please please TRIM your posts! <<several Test gardens across the country >> Robert, Make sure you ask the right questions. Do these display gardens take seedlings? As stated before, the club I belong to has a gorgeous display garden with over 300 irises. They only plant introduced irises, NEVER seedlings. They, also, reserve the right to sell new introductions for $3.00 each. All clubs are not hybridizer friendly.
