RE: SOaker hose/bubbler

And, there's another variety of soaker hose: the leaky hose, which is a
rather stiffer black hose made of recycled tires, which allows the water to
leak out all along its length. I've used these for years--great!

A soaker hose is a flat hose, made out of porous material that can be
buried in the bed, or not. It oozes or sprays the water gently, all along
the length of the hose. There is also a variety that has small pin holes
all along the length. Great for roses as no water on the leaves.
