Chris rambles on about SDB's:

Yes, reblooming SDB iris are great! Tougher to find ones that rebloom in
my zone but they are available. Chuck Chapman of Guelph, Ontario has
been hybridizing to this end specifically with SDB's for 7 or 8 years
now and has some interesting seedlings and one new intro this year that
is almost a continuous bloomer in my climatic area.

I know you'll ask the name and details so here they are:
FOREVER BLUE (Chapman 1997) SDB, 12 inches, A tailored smooth light blue
violet self, contrasting dark violet blue beard. Reblooms with abandon
starting only weeks after the TB's finish. Almost an everbloomer. Very
vigorous and not from reblooming parents. This should provide new
breeding lines for median rebloomers. (SHY VIOLET x ((VELVET CAPER x
MICHAEL PAUL) x SIGH))
