THe SECOND thing I wanted to say, is aomwonw recently asked about
cutting the fans. You should only do this when digging them up and then
replanting. You do this to help the roots establish. Because there is
less square inchage of foliage, and because it's low to the ground, if
you have wind, it won't knock over the plant while the roots are trying
to develop.
