TB: First bloom

The first TB bloom opened in our garden today, some old reliables and as
usual they are first. Two varieties opened one bloom each during the day
today, NEEDLEPOINT and SUMMER OLYMPICS. Still have lots of SDB bloom
going on too.
This looks like a bumper crop year for TB bloom here, bloomstalks appear
to be shooting up like magic overnight and lots of them on almost all
the varieties that we grow.
Off to our Iris picnic tomorrow and hope to see some of the convention
folks there... as well as lots of iris...
