Rima --> one more comment about fertilizer. I talked with the man who, in
Pittsburgh, Pa, regularly walks off with more blue ribbons than anyone
(in many different kinds of shows, I must add) who said that he does
absolutely nothing to his TB's except dig and throw away and plant new ones.
He does, however, raise rabbits, composts the dung, and digs that in
everywhere, except around the bearded ones, so he says. I have not seen
his garden, so I don't know proximity and patterns.
He swears by his program of neglect for the bearded, however.
