You may have exposed the kernel of a great idea here, Rusty! Why identify
our growing conditions by impersonal, bureaucratic numbers, when we could
employ more descriptive terms, such as *USDA Prime* for California, *USDA
Choice* for Oregon and Washington, *USDA Good* for Texas and Oklahoma, and
so on. Worth chewing over!
