RUSTY:
Those of us in your area do not dig and divide yet. We usually do this
in August. If you want to get a better bloom season next year, I would
leave everything as is. This will not only give you a better clump, but
probably an increase in bloom stalks. It is too early from bloom to dig
up, and since the weather is so unstable, you could get rot.
