Bloom time depends on the iris itself. Since there is Early, Early-mid,
Mid, Mid-late, and late bloom season for all irises, your SDB's could
bloom before, during and even after your TB's have started blooming.
This is what extends the bloom season for us. You might want to check
to see when your iris bloom so that if your SDB's all bloom at the same
time, you can get different bloom season ones. With so many different
bloom times, I am able to have bloom on various ones starting in late
March and going thrugh May. Upon returning from the Iris Convention
this past week, I went out Sunday June 8th and found CHAMPAGNE ELEGANCE
in full bloom. It had not bloomed yet this year. What a delightfull
surprise to find this Welcome Home treat.
