Steve,
I know how you feel, I was having pre-bloom depression until just a little
while ago. Everyone talking about blooms in March and all I had for a
garden was frozen soil and snow in mid May!!
Now lots of things in bloom including 6-7 once named irises (tags have gone
to tag-heaven), I think you should plant some lilies and/or daylilies for
continued bloom. There are lots of exciting new hybrids in both of those
plant groups, enough to help the summer along.
