Hi Bob--
I've had the same experience with most of my iris -- some of the ones
I've dug and divided are just not producing anything but lush foliage
and they have been i the ground much longer than a year. Others I've
dug and divided have bloom beautifully the very next season. I've learn
from the iris-l's knowledgable people that a lot has to do with soil ph,
amount of sunlight, and fertilizer. My lush non-bloomers are going to
be taken up this fall and planted in a much sunnier spot.
