I have played around with horn x horn and have not noted the
strange progeny George described. A lot of horn x horn didn't have horns.
I have also crossed Engminger variegated irises with plics and have not
gotten a variegated seedling yet, maybe because they have all been such
poor growers. JILTED is the best performer and Allan let somebody else
introduce that one!!
