Rick may be correct, however, this would not prevent the master copy
been transferred to the new system and made available immediately there
was a demand.  The real issue is the gathering of the information and
programming the package so that the user's needs were met in a simple
and effective way.

I would be interested in cooperating in the production of a species
CD-ROM and wonder whether it could not be a first project for a World
Iris Association or for SIGNA. [Although, I understand from the
President that he does not wish to see SIGNA do too much].  What
happened at the BIS and AIS meetings on the WIA. Can we have some
feedback?

Ian E. Efford, who is trying to keep track of the seedlings that are
blooming for the first time and were obviously mis-identified before
they were planted (or collected).
