Sterling has this characteristic in his line which I really like. When we
were there earlier this spring, I saw two seedlings that had almost
completely purple stalks all the way up to the terminal. I liked it lots.
They were:
#4016-4: pink standards, orange ground with berry falls. nice flower
but the killer was this one.
#4596-4: bright yellow fall ground with intense raspberry plicating! WOW!
Now Sterling says it's a bit high-branched, but man, what color from all
across the garden and those totally purple stalks are something I'd love to
have in my line of reblooming pinks. Don't ya think that'd be kewl?
