What information can anyone give on I.'Gerald Darby'? The following was on
another LIST, discussing purple foliage of various sorts.

On the subject of purple foliage, how about the Iris GERALD DARBY?
The foliage is not truly purple, but it has a purple cast and purple
veining to it. Also, the flower stems are purple. GERALD DARBY is a long
blo
ing Iris with a high bud count to it. It does need to be situated in
a MOIST site, unlike most other Iris types.
