Hi, Rusty! Everyone is certainly making me want to get this iris! Here
is the description from the check list, because you said you think it is
what you have:
CORAL STRAND (O. D. Niswonger, R.1976). Sdlg. 24-71. TB, 34" (86 cm), M.
Standards white, flushed pink; falls ruffled pink; tangerine-pink beard.
Niswonger 1977. Parentage includes Java Dove, Happy Birthday,
Glittering Amber, Marilyn C, and Snowline.
This means that the iris was registered with the AIS in 1976 and
introduced by him in 1977. It blooms M (midseason).
I do hope that after all, this is the one you have.
