Thanks so much for the info on the AIS checklists, although I still feel a little stupid for not noticing it in the AIS Bulletins.  I purchased Bill Shear's book shortly after it came out.  My husband and I have found it very helpful.  I'm glad to hear that your knee is doing better and that you're able to go out and tackle the roadways once again.  Enjoy your new van and stay safe.  Thanks again for the info.

Regards,

Dear Les;ie, that's not stupidity but lack of observation --- youhaven't
noticed the ad the AIS "storefront" has in each Bulletin --- as so many
others.  It has lots of goodies, such as the new AIS CalendArs (now THAT's
stupidity on my part - I have to look  up whether it is an "e" or "a"
everytime I write it -- and I used to be a champion speller in grade school)
-- It also has Bill Shear's  Book on Irises at bargain prices, and if you
don't have one, you need it ---anyhow to get to your question -- the
checklists are done yearly - coming out about Feb. (I think) and then they
are done as a hardback volume every ten years. == all available in the
"store"   AND  The prices include the postage, hich is a big help -- and
things are sent  so quickly, you have your "buys"  before your check is dry -
almost -- anygow, I just looked in the last Bulletin and it is on page 118 =
and I don't see Bill's book mentioned == maybe it was just for the convention
- but I'd ask, because you really do want it!!  Everyone raves about it who
has one/  Now I will hie myself off on errands in my NEW car - a Ford
Windstar== hasn't gone 300 m yet -- the Dr. just released my knee for driving
about 10 days ago -- result of other car being totaled.   I reel free as a
bird now -- no more taxis -- went up to York to judge their  iris show on
Saturday  a beautiful show - .  Bye for now -Rosalie nr Baltimore - where it
is DRY   zone 7  r*@aol.com
