After years of waiting to begin my life anew today I signed the papers
selling my families house (my parents bought the house in 1955). In early
July I will be buying a house in Dover Plains, N. Y., after being stranded in
an apartment for the last five years (via divorce). Upon getting word the
family house was sold, I searched for a house and a seller that would allow
me to move in my flowers. Especially my irises, bearded, banner, and
japanese, unfortunately time did not allow me the chance to move many.
Especially when you consider the exe had killed most of the bearded due to
neglect. Consequently one of my goals joining iris-talk is a totally selfish
persuit. I am hoping to meet people who like myself love flowers, more
importantly irises. People who do not have the resources to purchase five of
every variety, but who have the heart to share their children with a loving
caretaker. If anyone is willing to share their irises I would love them.
Please let me know, I will gladly pay the shipping expense.
Sorry if this seems a bit tacky, but I do not have the means of replacing all
the irises I lost.
Thank You
Peace
