I'm sorry to hear that you lost so many irises in the transition. But what
perfect timing to take possession of your new house. You have just enough
time to prepare beds for planting iris.
I'm not sure where Dover Plains is but there are a number of local iris
societies in New York and hopefully the New Yorkers on-line will respond to
your plea for some iris. If you plan to be on this side of the border
during iris digging time, let me know. In the meantime, enjoy iris-talk.
