HYB: Spec-X

From: Dennis Kramb <dkramb@badbear.com>

On some of my spec-x crosses, something really weird happened. The
seedpods started developing normally over the course of about 2 weeks, but
then within the last few days they all turned yellow and shrivelled
away...rather rapidly.

I mean one day they look fat & happy. The next day they're yellow, but
still fat. The next day they're shrivelled crispy crunchy things! At
least it sure seemed to happen that fast. Is this a common occurrence?

In other news...the seedpods on my earliest bearded crosses are finally
starting to yellow. I made those sometime back in mid April, I think.

Oh, and I got rebloom stalks coming up! I'll have to double check my maps
& do a proper report this weekend.

Oh, and does anyone have any experience with planting tulip seeds? I
crossed some of them this spring too. :)
