RATS!  You are probably right on the first count.  It's hardly rained here
in the last 2 weeks.  Which is when the pods started shrivelling away.  I'm
giving them a good long soak today to hopefully save the remaining pods.

You know, I spent so much time seeking advice on how to get spec-x crosses
to take, that I never remotely even considered the challenge of nursing
those pods to maturity.
