I have a seedpod of Iris versicolor x Iris virginica var. shrevei. Should
I expect to get a lot of PBF on the seedlings? Or is GERALD DARBY an
anomaly rather than the rule?

Mark, have you ordered any Iris tridentata yet? I've been talking to more
& more people about it, and it seems to be a bit fussy. I haven't decided
if I'm going to buy some this year or not. I decided I need to dump a
bunch of TBs (that failed to impress me) to make room for my SIGNA
seedlings (and my own seedlings). So it's iffy as to whether I'll make any
purchases this season. (But I got some good trades planned out! <g!>)
