Hello Iris-Talkers:
I just wanted to report that our fellow iris-talk member, Vicki Craig,
(along with husband Jim), took Queen of Show at our recent Greater
Portland Iris Society Show with the IB DEPARTURE. It was really a
double honor, as they also hybridized this Intermediate. The
competition was tough, with a Queen's Table that included a wide
range of fine stalks, from an SDB to a Spuria! DEPARTURE looked
perfect, with three ruffled white flowers in bloom, and perfect
branching. I've asked Chad Harris, Show Chairman, to e-mail me a
detailed list of winners, which I'll post when I get it.
