Dorothy, my sincere congratulations to you and Tony for your great successes
at the recent shows you reported on. I thoroughly enjoyed reading your
report. :-)
I made a error reporting Best Specimen at our show. I errantly reported
CONJURATION was shown by Dorothy Vande but the winner was Francis Rogers who
also took the sweepstakes Silver Medal. He deserved it. His entries are
always extremely good. He brought a stalk of SUMMER WHITE (his own intro)
that had 5 perfect flowers open on a nicely branched stalk. He accidentally
creased one of the falls bringing it into the building. What heartbreak! It
still made it to the Queen's table as Best White iris in show.
