The colors remind me of the barnacles around a TIDE POOL. Thought that
might be catchy.

Unfortunately, that name is already spoken for:
TIDE POOL (Keppel, '79) SDB Blended greyed greenish yellow touched rosy
brown with olive sheen.
My thought was RIM SHOT, but that is in use as well.
How about RIM TIDE?
It's not easy coming up with good names for irises with over 50,000 already
taken. (-:
