Wow,
I am quite surprised at the number of responses to this request! It's
turning into a big thing here. We have decided to have all the staff and
employees vote on the name and the winner will get a rhizome of it. We will
wait until next week for George and Margaret to get back, I guess we need
there input too. :-) OK Maureen the runner up will get one too. Thanks to
everyone for submitting names, if we happen to use the name you submitted on
a different iris we will try and send one of those to the person who
submitted the name.
This is such an exciting iris! It is turning out all sorts of flounced
seedlings, including a broken color one. :-))) even crossed it with
non-plicata seedlings and the results are equally impressive. Not too
mention it is just a really nice flower.
