Betty, the Wal Marts in this area carry potted (and growing, blooming) roses
as well as waxed and sealed in plastic bags. They are the best bet to
purchase from them, as you can see if they are true to name before you
purchase them. They seem more accurate on the Floribundas here than
anything else...but I seldom buy tea roses as I have no time to coddle
anything but certain iris! I have ordered roses from J&P and Wayside
Gardens. J&P roses were all properly labelled and grew well. Wayside
Garden roses always look good and grow well and are usually as labelled. I
order from Wayside because they have the "odd" roses most people don't buy;
species, old roses, David Austin English roses. I like these best and they
sure don't demand much in the way of care.
