If Bowling Green is anything like Myrtle Beach, some years we just don't
GET spring or fall. Of course our version of fall is pretty mild.
I always prefer the catalog descriptions that include bud count,
branching if possible, and beard color, texture even mention of haft marks or
none. Although any particular iris could grow differently for me than for
someone in Washington, I still think it would be immensely helpful. I also
like when they mention when a particular iris has been a good parent or if
it's sterile.
