Speaking of which, the irises have finally arrived in the packet section of
K-mart nursery dept. This just gets curiouser and curiouser.
The packet says to plant from Summer to early winter. ...O..K...
The reverse side gives more details .. plant bearded irises from May to
September......UM.....Howzat??
Do you think it wise of me to point out to the powers that be, in K-mart,
that Summer to early winter, in Australia, is roughly November to May?
Could it be that these plants, labelled K-mart Australia, are packaged
overseas?
BTW - they only arrived this week, and are already showing signs of rot!
