Barbara,
I don't know of any Iris specialty nurseries in Florida. I looked up
where you are, well south of Orlando. I would recommend that you stick
exclusively with Louisiana Irises. The Louisiana Irises are excellent for
Florida.
Louisiana Irises need moist conditions, but it is not too difficult to
provide that, even on a hill like where I am. One source of Louisiana
Irises is Iris City Gardens http://www.iriscitygardens.com
Again, be sure to stick with the Louisiana Irises. I brought some TB,
Siberian, and Japanese Irises with me when I moved from Kentucky. Those had
to go back north.
Dunnellon in in a range of hills about 20 miles southwest of Ocala. We
are much more freeze prone than you are. This past winter, we had 18
Freezes. One good way to learn about gardening in Florida is to join the
Florida Gardening List, which is also operated out of onelist.
There are some other members of the Iris Family you could try too.
