Walter, thanks so much for your comments about your experience with your 
collected pseudacorus.  The ones about which I wrote came from collected seed 
as well.  We still have one clump growing in the garden and it is a bear.  
The others are under control in pots in the pool.  We also have a white 
cultivar (or form?) in the pool that I have been afraid to plant in the 
garden for fear of another battle.  Now I think I will try it, since it is 
such a lovely thing.  Remember the "white" pseudacorus in Memphis? <G>
