EVERY country has an assigned two letter internet domain name code which is
determined by the ISO 3166 standard. (Including United States although you
do not see it occurring too often, the United States code is .us)
Technically these are known a Country Code Top Level Domains (CCTLD)
In addition there are the following Top Level Domains (TLD):
.com Commercial
.edu Educational
.gov US Government
.int International Organizations
.mil US Dept of Defense
.net Networks
.org Organizations
