Speaking of large things. I brought in a flower of ((WINTERSCAPE X SKY
HOOKS X sib) X IN REVERSE.) It is a pale blue reverse ameona with a pale
blue band on the falls. Very nice coloring and pattern, however the falls
were 5 inches across and it measured a full 12 inches from tip of to tip of
fall. The form wasn't floppy because it had good substance. Any interest
in very large iris out there? I mean really, really large. Only 35" tall.

Is this characteristic of the seedling, or a first-time performance? How
was the branching and bud count?
I've often had seedlings with 1 to 3 HUGE flowers on maiden bloom, which go
on to stabilize with normal size, branching and bud count.
