That's traditional in the Buffalo area - although our last frost date is
Memorial Day, any Buffalo Irishman (and EVERYONE'S an Irishman on 3/17..)
knows that the worst weather of the winter will be saved for the St.
Patrick's Day parade.
In the meantime, I cut myself a little nosegay of snowdrops and reticulata to
cheer up my desk... and while I was at it, I sprinkled hot pepper everywhere.
If you see squirrels with watering eyes and kitties dancing, just remember
that they asked for it.
