We were in Tulsa last night (Thursday) for our monthly iris society meeting and our
guest speaker was Rick Tasco. I talked with Rick about his "Professional" version of
WinIirs (the version that does invoicing, customer data base, etc.) and asked him when
the program was going to be ready for public release. Rick said barring any problems
the program would be ready for release by fall of 2000. Rick told me that Superstition
Gardens is currently using this program to do all their work/printing catalog, etc. as
or in a "Beta" testing period. Rick said this test period should find any bugs and
allow them to remove or correct them before the program gets into the public's hands.
This sounds Great to me! I am anxiously awaiting this program! As I said previously, I
have Rick's non-professional version of WinIris and it is a good program but the
professional version is the one I want. Fall is going to be a long time coming. At
least I will have something to do over the winter! :) Just think of all the data I get
to enter! :)
