Yep, that they would. I once had a big log which I hauled
to a sawmill. The sawyer showed me the blade which they
had used on a backyard tree the previous week. The log
owner had to pay $700.00 to repair the blade and everyone
was fortunate that the resulting shrapnel didn't injure
any workers.
