I'll venture a comment on this one, it does grow nicely, took a second
year to bloom but bloomed well...I will say it's not my favorite shade of
blue. Described as "marine "blue...I like those sky/turquoise/azure blues
or really dark blues myself.
I also grow Moon Journey which only put out two flowers on a stalk last
year but has also increased nicely...wasn't really the flowers fault since I
had to move it twice. (have a piece of this if you'd like it.) It is a
lovely amoena but I didn't notice that edge effect.
Ecstatic Echo intrigues me...dont' grow it but that picture in Schreiner's
caught my eye too. A slightly wider flower form with similar spot is the
historic REPARTEE, and Superstition has that one. Picture on the HIPS
website or World Iris website, I forget which.
