Got to see that ONLOOKER bloom that got knocked off by a hailstone.
Short stem and all it bloomed in a teacup sized glass. Pronounced
aril spot on this one.
Many of the arilbreds are in bud stage. KIOSK will probably open
tomorrow if another hail stone doesn't wreck things. It seems to me
that many of the arilbreds don't take very long from the time you see
the bud in the fans to bloom. Is it my imagination? Seems like on
some of the TBs you can watch the bud stalk for a much longer period
before seeing bloom. Some of the ARs seem more comparable to
the TBs in time to bloom, but some seem in a hurry. Is this possibly
a desert mode showing up? I know many desert plants can bloom
overnight after a bit of rain.
