GENETIC BURST, which I reported on last week as being my
harginger, always shoots up and blooms quickly. One day there is
just a smattering of color, and then the next day, it is in full bloom.
ZERZURA is also like that, but HEART STEALER and PINK
BETTERMENT seem to take forever. The aril medians are
generally later in bloom, and they also don't seem to be in a big
hurry to exress themselves, speaking for those I grow.

Since your arilbreds are blooming now, Donald, maybe the
bloom season in Texas is not so early as I thought it might be. My
old Texas records show arilbreds blooming the second week in
March during a 'normal' season like we had back in 1924, which,
as you know, was the only 'normal' year ever recorded.
