GENETIC BURST and ZERZURA hail from balmier climes where it is forever
springtime, but HEART STEALER and PINK BETTERMENT are from Utah, which is a
different sort of place, where one swallow does not a summer make, and
little irises learn early not to stick their noses out without testing the
wind first.

Chicago is "balmy" compared to Utah????? GENETIC BURST is a Danielson
introduction, but it was bred and introduced while Henry was still in
Chicago.
But you make a good point about HEART STEALER and PINK BETTERMENT. Both
are from lines bred for relatively late bloom -- so they are less likely to
be nipped by a late freeze and more likely to be in bloom at show time.
