The Affiliates Meeting (for presidents, other officers, and anyone else
interested in local societies) is scheduled for 4:30 to 5:30 on Sunday,
April 16, the day before the welcome banquet.
If your local is having any particular problems you would like discussed
there, please let me know, either privately or on-list. Also, if you
have found a solution to societal problems, let me help spread the word.
I have one specific topic I want to cover (details at 11), but we should
have plenty of time for other areas.
In the past (the extensive history of this meeting covers two whole
previous conventions) Shirley Pope, AIS Affiliates Chair, has given some
introductory remarks and then the free-for-all has started. The meetings
have proven to be both fun and useful.
I invite you to make suggestions and, if possible, attend.
