Wandering around the garden the other day I was surprised by a bloom on I.
cretensis. The plant was the sole survivor of some Dennis sent me,
collected in Greece. The bloom looks typical of I. unguicularis, of which
cretensis is thought to be a synonym. The plant had tried to bloom in the
winter, but was nibbled off by deer or rabbits, along with my other
unguicularis.
Thanks, Dennis!
