Dear Tony,
We in Dallas have had the very same problem, and tried the same things
to get them to be active members. They seem to be interested in iris, but
not in being active in the society, because some of them have rejoined for
several years. I, as membership
chairman, in the past, do not have an answer. With my newer hat I, as
program chairman, have tried to find programs that would interest new people
to little avail. If
anyone can help with this problem, many of us would like to hear from you.
