Ed - some questions please. What color Iris did you have before you moved? Were they all the
same color where you use ro live? I have had people tell me that their blue Iris had bloom
the next year all yellow, but when I have offered to furnish iris from my garden and come and
plant them (local gardeners only) and come back the next year to photograph the different
colors, I have yet to have some one to take up the offer. I have had sports from a plant that
was different color the the rest of the bloom stalks, But the to change from one location to
another may show a slight coloration change due to different chemical and mineral within the
new location, but never a drastic change as you show. Quite often, we have purchased iris
from local club sales and mass merchandiser and receive miss labeled plants. There is a lot
of iris talk members out there more qualified to answer this question than I am.
