You are welcome, Ed. That is interesting about the ratio.
About the weather, yes, I'm in Virginia and I can relate. It was a uniquely
nasty summer. Hopefully this one won't be so dramatic.
One thought that crosses my mind is that the white irises are simply early
bloomers and so that is all you have seen so far. Another thought is that for
whatever reason the other colors have suffered a setback either from the move
or from weather related problems, by which I mean rot induced by too much
water. If they have rotted out they may not be back, although I'd be
surprised if you lost all of them. And if they are irises that tend to bloom
later they may just not have bloomed yet. The season is already a little
wierd and your irises may not behave exactly the same at your new home as
they did before. Just keep an eye on them and we will see whatall happens.
