At last spring is hitting New Mexico. It's early but I'm very tired of brown and yellow.
I have bloomstalks, if you can call them that on I. pumila "Suslik", Smidget, MDB, Eiswerfel, SDB, and Eleanor Roosevelt (?).
Question 1
I'm finally getting germination on some two year old pots of seed I left outside this winter. I. cypriana, I. albertii, I caucasia, I wilmotthiana, I. koetdaghensis, I. variegata yellow and brown, and I. lactea pink veins. Tell me, our weather is oscillating between high 60s and 20s. I panicked when it went to 24F and dug up the pots and moved them in. What do you think should I leave the seedlings outside?
Question 2
I've decided to grow the Junos in pots. Suggestions? I lost the ones I planted out last year so maybe I need more environmental control. I'll bury the pots and move them inside during the monsoons.
Thanks,
Cindy
