HIST: Is This Florentina?

Another possibility is that your white iris is I. albicans. According to an
item in the Fall, 1995 issue of ROOTS, the "Never Fail Florentina vs. I.
albicans Discriminator" is that the standards of Florentina bear a few
straggling white hairs on the inner side of the standards near the base
which are never present in I. albicans. Of course, this is not to say that
your iris might not be something other than either Florentina or I.
albicans.
