While sorting thru stacks and stacks and disarray of papers and catalogs
searching for notes on what the heck I aquired last year, I ran across a
newsletter from Schreiners. It had a survey that asked whether I was
(1) an iris collector (bought new introductions every year), (2) ... the
other categories were things like bought irises occasionally, rarely
bought irises.
LOL - I guess I'm not an iris collector, since I am too cheap/poor to
buy new introductions, ever (well, once). If I'm not a collector, why
did I get over 150 additional cultivars last year-and I'm still hunting
for invoices/notes/swap lists. This hobby is TOTALLY out of control, and
I've already sent off one order for 2000! Help! Where is the local
chapter of irises anonymous?
Definitely CHAT, but on the topic of irises.
